Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Who qualifies for ELO-P?

The district bases qualifications on a number of factors including but not limited to, income, housing, ESL families, foster care, and more. This information is not shared with the Club, but if you feel you quality and have not received a letter, please contact the district.

Q: Where do I find my SSID? (Student ID Number)

Your student’s 5-digit SSID or lunch code can be found on PowerSchool. If this does not help, please contact your school. SSID is required during registration in order to confirm qualification for the program.

Q: How long will the program be free through ELO-P?

Qualifying ELO-P students can expect free programing for the remainder of the 22' - 23' school year as well as the entirety of the 23' - 24' school year. Additional funding options may be available beyond this point and will be communicated with families when options are available.

Q: Is there an age requirement to qualify for ELO-P?

ELO-P covers children TK - 6th grade. (Summer program will only accept students entering grades K - 6th)

Q: Does my child have to attend program from 2pm-6pm every day to stay in the program?

Our programs are meant to meet the needs of our families. While we always encourage full participation, we do understand that families schedules vary so you are welcome to pick-up your student at any time that works best. We do ask that parents try to allow their student to stay until 3:30pm to maintain program structure. Should your child have to miss Club or leave early for any reason, please communicate that with the Site Coordinator of your Club via phone call or text.

Q: Does my child need to bring anything to program?

Supplies and snacks are provided by the Boys & Girls Club and children are not required to bring anything to the program. However parents are welcome to pack extra snacks and water.

Q: Where is the program being held at my school?

All after school programs will be held onsite at the child's school.

Our WUSD schools have provided multiple rooms and locations on campus for our Boys & Girls Club to utilize. Program attendance and check in is primarily held in the cafeteria but may vary by site.

Q: How long will it take for my child to be accepted into the program?

Admittance dates may vary.

While ELO-P students have priority registration, they are still based on a first come first serve basis. Your child's admittance into the program may be delayed if you miss a registration deadline or if the club has reached its site number capacity.

Our team will do our best to enroll your child as soon as we are able.
